FTMO strategies are designed for the prop-firm challenge business: you pay a small fee (~$500 for a $100K challenge), attempt to make 8% in Phase 1 and 5% in Phase 2; if you pass both, FTMO funds you with $100K of their capital and you keep 80% of profits.
This is an income business — not a percentage-return investment. The CAGR shown is the strategy's return on the funded account if it never blows up. Real-world income depends on (a) how many parallel challenges you run, (b) the pass rate, (c) funded-account life before drawdown limits hit. See the full economics on the admin dashboard.
